SEO for electricians
SEO for electricians that keeps your van booked up
Lights tripping, a consumer unit that needs replacing, an EV charger on the drive. Whatever the job, people search Google, look at the map and ring one of the first electricians they see. We help electrical firms become one of them.

Why good electricians lose work to firms that just look better online
Customers cannot judge your wiring before they book you. So they judge what they can see: how many reviews you have, whether they are recent, whether you show your NICEIC or NAPIT registration, real photos of tidy work and a website that loads on their phone. The electrician who looks most trustworthy on Google usually gets the call, even when another firm would do a better job.
What we found when we studied Leeds trades on Google
We looked at 320 Google Maps listings for eight trades, electricians included, within 10 km of Leeds city centre. The same gaps showed up in every trade, and any electrician who fixes them first gets ahead.
have fewer than 10 Google reviews
show no website on their listing
appear unclaimed by their owner
For the 40 electrician listings in the sample, the median was 7 reviews, six in ten had fewer than 10, more than a third showed no website and almost a third did not appear to be claimed by their owner. That is a small sample, so treat it as a guide rather than a hard figure.

What we do for electrical firms
Google Business Profile
The right main category, every electrical service listed, real job photos added each month and your service areas set properly, so you show up in the map for searches like “electrician near me” and “emergency electrician”.
A page for every electrical job
Fault finding, rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs for landlords, EV charger installs, lighting and outdoor power. One page per service gives Google a clear reason to show you for each search.
Pages for the areas you cover
Useful pages for the towns and districts you really work in, with your own jobs and photos from those places. Never copy and paste pages with the town name swapped.
A website that builds trust fast
Your registration, insurance and guarantees where customers can see them, your number at the top and a short quote form that works on a phone.
Google Verified and Local Services Ads
Electricians are one of the UK trades Google offers Local Services Ads for. Appear above the normal results with the Google Verified badge and only pay when a customer contacts you. We handle the checks and manage the ads.
A clear monthly report
Calls, enquiries and where you rank, in plain English. You will always know what you are paying for and what it is bringing in.
Five mistakes we see on electricians' Google profiles
1. No sign of your registration. If you are NICEIC or NAPIT registered, say so on your profile and your website. It is one of the first things careful customers check.
2. One "services" page for everything. Google cannot tell whether you do EV chargers, rewires or landlord certificates, so you get shown for less.
3. No photos of real jobs. A neat consumer unit or a tidy charger install builds trust faster than any stock image.
4. Service areas missing or wrong. If your profile does not say where you work, you will not appear there.
5. Reviews that stopped years ago. Customers notice when the last review is old. Asking each happy customer for a review as you finish the job keeps them coming.
How it works
1. Free check
We look at your Google profile, your website and the electricians you compete with, and send you the three things we would fix first.
2. A simple plan
If you want our help, you get a clear plan and price. No long tie-in and no jargon.
3. Steady work every month
We do the work and report back each month on calls, enquiries and rankings.
Questions electricians ask us
How long does SEO take for an electrician?
It depends on your area and how much competition there is. Fixing your Google Business Profile can make a difference within weeks. Ranking new service pages usually takes a few months. We will tell you honestly what to expect after the free check, and you get a plain English report every month.
Should my NICEIC or NAPIT registration go on my Google profile?
Yes, if you hold it. Mention it in your profile description and on your website, and show the logo where your scheme allows. Customers look for it, and it helps them choose you over an unknown name.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. If your site is quick on a phone, shows your number clearly and has a page for each electrical service, we can work with it. If it is slow, out of date or missing, we build electricians’ websites as well.
Can you help us get the Google Verified badge?
Yes. Electricians are one of the trades Google offers Local Services Ads for in the UK, and those ads carry the Google Verified badge. We handle the checks and set-up, and manage the ads so you only pay when a customer gets in touch.
Do you only work with electricians in Leeds?
We are based in Leeds and work with trades across the UK. Your service pages and Google profile are built around the towns you actually cover.
What does it cost?
We quote after the free check, once we know what needs doing. There is no long tie-in and no jargon.
