INTRO
At Unavoidable Marketing, we’re committed to delivering real results and maintaining straightforward, honest relationships with every client and customer. This refund policy sets out clearly how payments work across our services, what you can expect from us, and what our position is when it comes to refunds.
We’d encourage you to read this before purchasing any of our services or subscribing to Unavoidable CRM. If you have any questions about anything on this page, please get in touch before you commit — we’re always happy to talk things through.
01: DIRECT DEBIT PAYMENTS
Direct Debit Payments – No Refunds Once Collected
Where payment for any of our services or products is taken by direct debit – including but not limited to Unavoidable CRM subscriptions, digital marketing retainers, website maintenance packages, social media management, SEO retainers, PPC management fees, and white label service agreements – no refunds will be issued once a direct debit payment has been successfully collected.
This applies regardless of:
- The date within the billing period the cancellation or dispute is raised
- Whether the service has been partially used or not yet accessed during that billing period
- Any change in your business circumstances after payment has been collected
Why we have this policy: When a direct debit is collected, our team immediately allocates resource, time, and third-party costs to your account for that billing period. Because that work begins at the point of payment – not the point of delivery – we are unable to reverse or refund collected direct debit payments.
If you believe a direct debit has been collected in error – for example, after a confirmed cancellation date has passed or due to a processing mistake on our part – please contact us immediately at hello@unavoidablemarketing.com and we will investigate and resolve any genuine errors promptly.
02: OTHER PAYMENT METHODS
Payments by Card, Bank Transfer, or Invoice
Digital marketing services (retainers) Payments made by card or bank transfer for monthly retainer services – including SEO, PPC management, social media management, Google Local Service Ads management, and website maintenance – are non-refundable once work for that billing period has commenced.
If you choose to cancel a retainer service, your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period in accordance with the notice period set out in your service agreement (typically 30 days). No refund will be issued for the period in which notice is given if work has already begun.
One-off project payments (website design & development) For website design and development projects, the following applies:
- Deposits – Project deposits are non-refundable once the discovery and design process has begun. The deposit secures your project slot and covers initial strategy, research, and design work.
- Milestone payments – Payments made at agreed project milestones are non-refundable once the corresponding milestone deliverable has been provided to the client for review.
- Final payments – Final project payments are due on completion and handover. These are non-refundable once the completed website has been handed over or made live, whichever is earlier.
If a project is cancelled by the client before a milestone is reached, any payments made prior to that milestone are non-refundable. Any work completed up to the point of cancellation remains the property of Unavoidable Marketing until all outstanding payments have been settled.
03: UNAVOIDABLE CRM
Unavoidable CRM – Subscription Payments
- Free trial Unavoidable CRM offers a 14-day free trial on all plans. No payment is taken during the free trial period. If you choose not to continue after your trial, simply do not upgrade – no charge will be made and no refund is required.
- Monthly subscriptions Monthly CRM subscription payments are non-refundable once collected. If you cancel your subscription, access to the platform will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing month.
- Annual subscriptions Annual CRM subscription payments are non-refundable once collected. If you cancel an annual subscription, your access will continue until the end of the annual term. No refunds are issued for the remaining months of an annual subscription following cancellation.
- Exceptions – technical failure In the event of a verified platform outage or technical failure that renders Unavoidable CRM substantially unusable for a continuous period of 48 hours or more, and where that outage is attributable to our systems rather than third-party infrastructure, we will review requests for proportional credit on a case-by-case basis. This does not constitute a right to a cash refund and any credit issued will be applied to future subscription payments.
If you experience a technical issue with the platform, please report it to support@unavoidablem.com and our team will work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
04: WHITE LABEL SERVICES
White Label Partners
White label service agreements are governed by the terms of your individual partner agreement. The general refund principles set out in this policy apply to white label partnerships – specifically:
- Monthly management fees collected by direct debit or recurring card payment are non-refundable once collected.
- White label service agreements are subject to the notice period specified in your partner agreement (typically 30 days).
- Any bespoke setup, onboarding, or configuration work completed on behalf of a white label partner is non-refundable once that work has been delivered.
05: CANCELLATIONS
How to Cancel
We don’t make cancellation difficult. If you wish to cancel any service or subscription with Unavoidable Marketing, here’s how to do it:
Digital marketing retainers and managed services Notify us in writing by email to hello@unavoidablemarketing.com with your business name, the service(s) you wish to cancel, and your requested cancellation date. We will confirm your cancellation within two working days and advise your final billing date in accordance with your 30 day notice period.
Unavoidable CRM subscriptions Log into your account and navigate to Account Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan. Alternatively, email support@unavoidablem.com and our team will process the cancellation for you. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
White label partnerships Cancellations must be submitted in writing to hello@unavoidablemarketing.com in accordance with the notice period in your partner agreement.
We ask for the notice period specified in your agreement so we can wind down your account responsibly, ensure any final deliverables are completed, and hand over anything you need to continue managing your clients or services independently.
06: DISPUTES & COMPLAINTS
If Something Has Gone Wrong
We take complaints seriously. If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, that a payment has been taken after a confirmed cancellation date, or that our services have not been delivered to the standard agreed, we want to hear from you.
Step 1 – Contact us directly In the first instance, please email hello@unavoidablemarketing.com with the details of your concern. Include your business name, the nature of the issue, and any relevant dates or reference numbers. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within one working day and resolve them within five working days.
Step 2 – Formal complaint If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction through direct contact, you may submit a formal written complaint to the same email address marked clearly as a formal complaint. We will investigate fully and respond in writing within 14 days.
07: STATUTORY RIGHTS
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this refund policy is intended to affect or limit your statutory rights under applicable UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 where applicable.
Please note that most of our services are purchased by businesses rather than individual consumers. Where you are purchasing as a business, certain consumer protections may not apply. If you are unsure of your rights in relation to a specific purchase, we recommend seeking independent legal advice.
08: CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing structure, or legal obligations. The current version of this policy will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
Where a material change is made to this policy that affects existing clients or subscribers, we will notify affected parties by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
Continued use of our services or the Unavoidable CRM platform after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
